I believe people seek therapy when they reach the point of making statements such as, “I need to change”, “I’m always sad”, “I’m always angry”, “I need help understanding why I feel this way”, “I don’t want to go to school” and “I don’t know if I want to be in this relationship”. In my opinion, everyone has inherent strengths but sometimes have difficulty accessing the power they have within themselves to succeed in relationships and life’s challenges. Therapy can be the missing link to help people heal and live healthy and productive lives. I utilize evidence based practices as well as a practical, collaborative solution focused approach to help people discover and re-discover tools to assist with achieving personal as well as relationship goals.
