I received a racist and misogynistic misdiagnosis after experiencing acute racial and sexual trauma. Thankfully, I’ve since been able to receive an accurate diagnosis from a mental health provider who is structurally, culturally, racially, and technically competent enough for me to enjoy recovery. I would never recommend this therapist to marginalized women (especially women of African descent and/or immigrants) who have experienced trauma and/or who have multiple diagnoses. EDIT: Nicole took her practice’s Facebook page down within 1-2 days of me leaving an identical negative review. Beware!
