Shakeia Brodie, MA, LPC, NCC

Shakeia is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia and founded Arise Renewed Counseling, LLC in 2021. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration at Winston Salem State University. She later attended The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and graduated with her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. 

 Shakeia has provided therapy to adults seeking treatment since entering the mental health field in 2016. She has professional experience in the non-profit, residential, addiction, mental health, inpatient crisis stabilization, and outpatient settings. She has provided services in Individual Therapy, Case Management and Group Therapy. Prior to opening Arise Renewed Counseling, Shakeia has worked at Right Side Up, Peachford Hospital, and Thriveworks Duluth.

 Shakeia discovered a passion for supporting individuals struggling with substance abuse disorders, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, adjustment, and anxiety. She believes that one treatment modality doesn’t fit all clients and meeting the client where they are is an integral part of the therapeutic relationship. She finds fulfillment in supporting clients addressing their inner challenges to make a positive change in their life.
