QHow does counseling work?
Each client's counseling experience differs. The initial counseling paperwork is reviewed and the therapist receives a deeper understanding of what brings you to counseling. The therapy sessions thereafter, the therapist builds rapport with the client. The therapist and client work together in assisting the client to achieve the client's therapeutic goals.
QHow often do I attend, and how long does therapy last?
How often you attend and how long that you are in therapy, is dependent upon many factors. However, the client and therapist will work together to determine these factors.
QI have never done teletherapy before, what can I expect?
Teletherapy is therapy sessions that you can have with your therapists, from the comforts of your own environment (home, vehicle, etc.). The therapist provides the client with a secure link, that the client can access via the electronic device of their choosing. (Please review the 'About Telehealth' tab for more detailed information).
